Bottom Line Blackjack
As with Bottom Line Baccarat, Bottom Line Blackjack differs from regular Blackjack by making the red cards ( and ) negative, while keeping the black cards ( and ) positive; face cards are still worth 10, and aces are still worth 1 or 11. The object of the game now is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over, but also to avoid going under 1 ("bankruptcy", since you're--pardon the bad pun--in the red). To have a blackjack now, both cards must be black, as the examples below show:

A-10 = 11+10 = 21 =
blackjack!
A-10 = 11-10 = 1
A-10 = -1+10 = 9
A-10 = -1-10 = -11 =
bankrupt!

OPTIONAL RULE
: If you're playing for money/chips/whatever, anybody who goes bankrupt must pay twice their original bet to the bank.
