Hasbro will be releasing three Commemorative Trilogy DVD Collection multipacks this fall.

Here is a look at the first one:

Thanks to gtr430s for the pics.

Wait a minut! These aren't stuck to the DVDs themselves are they? In some special offer.

I hope they don't pull something like that.

Although you should at least get something with your purchase.
How about 1 of 10 diferent figures.
So you have to buy 10 different DVD sets to get all ten figures.
Second thought burn this post.

PS I prepaid the TRU 5$ for the wide screen version. + 44.95 when ever the thing cones in 9/21 to 10/15. Was this a good price?

The box looks good, but I'm quite sure these will cost at least $20 ea. And that is way too much for a group of rehashes that are old, and that were rather common the first time around.

Hasbro is getting me more burnt out everyday.

I think this looks great. But it'd be even better if they weren't rehases. The Luke and R2 looks fine, but I'm tired of seeing that Obi-Wan and C-3PO needs a metallic finish.

I really like this kinda thing, and for once them being rehashes don't really bother me because I'd buy them mostly for the packaging/collectability aspect.

Price could be something which would come between me and ownership of these things though!

Why don't they use the CommTech R2-D2 sculpt?! I think that one looks pretty good, and why are they still using the POTJ R2 sculpt?! They've made 4 million(exagerration) of that one already, but do we need more of him? Hasbro may end up ruing the Star Wars collectibility it they are bent on rehashes. Yah, a few here and there and of some herder to get, but the same sculpt within months of it's first rehashing. Why???

I'm not impressed, I think these will be in great abundance and will be easy to pick off of the clerance shelves.

Oh jeez... maybe once Hasbro gets rid of all their surplused old crap they'll release new things... I'm just waiting for their Ketwol wave (boxes will contain 12 Ketwol figures)

sometimes its better to market action figures in defferant boxes to pull in new buyers, This is a very easy way for some one to start a neat collection without feeling burdened of finding the core charictors. So if Hasbro then can pull in more buyers that means they can put more money into a toy line that will die in less than 2 years.

rock and roll.

These are the things we never see here in Canada anyway, so by the time I get around to getting it, they will be on eBAY for cheap!

But, I'm loving the package! Its great to see Vader return for the packaging!!!!
