Kat's Beaded Picot Scrunchie

Materials:
Sport weight or baby yarn: small amt.
Crochet Hook Size F (3.75mm)
155 - 5mm pearl-type beads
Ponytail Holders (elastics)


Skill Level: Intermediate (due to the beading)


Notes:
* Use 2 ponytail holders (elastics) in case one breaks.

Stitch Note: Tc = Triple or Treble Crochet

Beading Note: Thread all beads onto yarn before beginning.


Crochet Instructions:

Rnd 1: Join yarn to band with a sl st; ch 1, work 51 sc around band; join with a sl st to beg sc.

Rnd 2: Ch 4 (counts as a tc), 2 tc in same stitch as joining; 3 tc in ea sc around; join to top of beg ch 4.

Rnd 3: Ch 4; tc in ea tc around; join to top of beg ch 4.

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in joining; (ch 3, sc in next tc) around to last tc; ch 1, hdc in beg sc.

Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in lp just made; (ch 2, pull up bead, ch 2, sl st in 3rd ch from hk, ch 1, sc in next lp) around; end with a sl st to beg sc.
Finish off & weave in ends.
