The Production

Rapunzel Uncut opens Saturday, Nov. 8 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 16 in the Black Box at Villagers Theatre, located on 475 Demott Lane in Somerset, N.J. Performances are Saturday at Noon and 3:00 PM and Sundays at Noon. Reservations can be made by calling the box office at (732) 873-2710. Tickets for all performances are $6.

This program is made possible, in part, by funds from the New Jersey State Council of the Arts/ Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, and administered by the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission through the State/County Partnership Local Arts Program.

The Story

Rapunzel Uncut by Mariah Everman is the fairytale farce of Rapunzel as told by dueling narrators, with a misunderstood witch, an off-pitch Rapunzel and an unimaginably stupid Prince.
