A bilingual English-German mailing list for anyone with a
genealogical interest of the former Danube Swabian Villages
situated in the six Donauschwaben regions of what was until 1918 the
Austro-Hungarian Empire: Swabian Turkey, Banat, Batschka, Syrmien,
Slavonia and Bosnia.
a volunteer project assisting researchers of Danube
Swabian Heritage, to learn more about their ancestral
villages and provide a repository of information specific to Danube
Swabian Culture and Lifestyle.
We encourage our
mailing list members to utilize the DVHH Mailing List to discuss
relevant research, ask questions and share discoveries.
Please take a few minutes to
acquaint yourself with our Posting Guidelines before subscribing:
Neither public nor
private posts that are disrespectful to another subscriber (i.e., flames) will
be tolerated. Violation of this may result in your immediate removal from
the list. We hope our members will be polite and courteous at all times. The most
important key on your keyboard is the DELETE key. If you don't like a message,
delete it. Responses
posted for the sole purpose of demeaning or "slamming" another subscriber's
opinion or remarks aren't appreciated by anyone. If you have a legitimate complaint about someone, send a message
to our List

and discover together.

easier. We also ask that you not change the subject
line in your response to other's postings so that related messages remain
together in the Archives.
The Donauschwaben Villages Mailing List is governed by the
Acceptable Use Policy.
There are two ways of participating
in the Donauschwaben Villages Mailing List:
mail receives a copy of every message, as it is posted to the List,
to your e-mail address. This includes copies of your own postings.
Most subscribers prefer this method.
mail is a digest of messages sent to your email address
once a day. This is a convenient method for keeping informed about
discussion topics without collecting multiple messages in your email
Change of email
(There are two easy steps for changing your email
address with the List):
