Since 1986, Family Solutions has been a leader in the treatment and prevention of child abuse. Family Solutions is a private non-profit agency licensed by the state to certify foster parents.  As such, we have been providing services to abused and neglected children of all ages in LA, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties in Southern California for more than 15 years.  The children are referred by various County Department of Children Services.  The foster family program emphasizes family reunification while promoting foster-adopt placements.

Family Solutions also operates thirteen group homes for at risk children. Most of the homes are in Orange County, but we do have a few in surrounding counties. Seven of the homes serve girls and six serve boys. Every attempt is made to make these "homes" and not institutions. The children live in the community and attend local schools. There are six children in each home and they are supervised seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Each two homes have a social worker to help the children in their personal development. The goal is to provide a normal home environment where the children will feel safe and comfortable.

Our programs at Family Solutions are accredited by the California Alliance of Child and Family Services. Family Solutions has introduced novel ideas that include keeping siblings together, promoting less restrictive settings, and providing Aftercare services to graduates of our programs. We are proud to have been one of the earliest pioneers in Orange County childcare to introduce innovative contracting behavior management systems in our residential treatment facilities.
