Sweden's Zlatan Ibrahimovic was selected as the Carlsberg Man of the Match thanks to a determined performance against a solid Italian defence. His fine display was capped by a memorable goal that earned his side a crucial 1-1 draw at Estádio do Dragão.

Audacious skill
The AFC Ajax striker pulled Sweden level five minutes from time with an audacious piece of skill, swivelling in mid-air and flicking the ball with the outside of his boot into the top corner of the net over the head of Christian Vieri, who was standing on the line.

Tireless running
But it was his tireless work-rate against the unyielding Italian centre-backs Fabio Cannavaro and Alessandro Nesta that kept Sweden in the game, even when it seemed as if there was no way back for his side.
