This web site is created for the benefit of all Sakyapa students worldwide. The site is designed and launched with the blessings from His Holiness Sakya Trizin, the supreme head of the Sakya Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The site aims to offer a general understanding of the Sakya School, its history and provide news about activities of His Holiness Sakya Trizin and Sakya Centers worldwide. The site is updated directly from Sakya Dolma Phodrang, Rajpur as frequently as possible by the webmaster who is also the secretary of His Holiness Sakya Trizin.
It will try its best to be interactive and offer news and help to all the students of His Holiness Sakya Trizin and all the others who have interest in the Buddha Dharma and the Sakya Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
It was possible to create this site only with the kind help and encouragement of Mr. Martyn Samuel of England who has most generously donated funds to buy a computer and also envisioned this project. Many thanks also goes for all the students of His Holiness who have and will keep contributing information and articles to share with other fellow students and friends.
The site will aim to be as up to date as possible with the events that it enlists. We appreciate constructive ideas the surfers of this site suggest and will do our best to incorporate it to make it informative and helpful. Readers may also send in queries which will be answered as promptly as possible.
P.S. The author of the site does not profess or claim originality regarding any work of art or article on this site. Some of the images and articles are collected from the multitude that are available on the Net and from other books and brochures. They are rearranged for the easy access and knowledge of all Netient Beings*. - Webmaster
