Fox Kids Europe N.V. changes name to Jetix Europe N.V.

Two Fox Kids Europe-Disney co-productions bring new original programming to Jetix
Amsterdam, The Netherlands and London, UK
- Fox Kids Europe N.V. (FKE) (AMEX: FKE; Reuters: FOXK.AS; Bloomberg: FKE.NA) today announced that it has changed its name to Jetix Europe N.V. following shareholder approval granted yesterday at an Extraordinary General Meeting held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. *
The name change to Jetix Europe N.V. is part of FKE's ongoing re-name to Jetix, the name for the new global action-adventure kids entertainment alliance between FKE, ABC Cable Networks and Fox Kids Latin America which will reach over 140 million television households in 79 countries and 18 languages.
Since the inception of the alliance FKE and Disney have already announced two co-productions, W.I.T.C.H. and Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go! the first original programming to bring to Jetix audiences worldwide.
Fox Kids channels in Europe and the Middle East have recently successfully launched Jetix branded programming blocks and will begin transitioning to Jetix-named channels from late 2004.

Outside Europe and the Middle East, Jetix-branded programming blocks debuted in the United States in February 2004 with morning programming on ABC Family and prime time programming on Toon Disney. Fox Kids channels in Latin America, including Brazil, will be renamed Jetix during August 2004.
*Formal registration of the new name, Jetix Europe N.V., is pending with the Dutch Trade Registrar.
