My name is John Joseph Lacombe II . I was born the son of John Joseph Lacombe Sr. and Marian Alice (Wormser) Lacombe. I was born and lived in Washington, D.C. and later moved to the suburbs in Maryland where I now reside. My father wrote My Mountain Journal and the Fort for the family. I've been known to write a little about myself also.
In Memoriam: JOHN J. LACOMBE, IIOn Monday, August 20, 2001 of Lanham, MD, John Lacombe died in his sleep very unexpectedly. He was the beloved son of the late John J. and Marian Lacombe; brother of Jim and Tom Lacombe. Friends were received at the RENDON HALE FUNERAL HOME, 9013 Annapolis Rd., Lanham, MD on Friday, August 25. Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Matthias Catholic Church, Lanham, MD on Saturday. Interment was at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mattias Catholic Church Building Fund, 9475 Annapolis Rd., Lanham, MD 20706.
