We have been building web sites and applications since 1997, and have grown into a £1m+ company with clients from a wide range of public and private sectors – most of them long term partners. There has been no outside investment, and we intend to remain an independent company.
We are open and honest in the way we deal with our clients & suppliers, and make objective and practical recommendations. And, whilst we don’t claim to be perfect, we work very hard to deliver our projects on time and on budget.
Site redesign: OrangutanTrop
We recently redesigned this site for OuTrop: a independent research and conservation project working within the Sebangau area of Borneo.
Usability test: Cornwall County Council
Cornwall County Council has a large site of around 9000 pages, providing vital information to county residents and visitors. To ensure they achieved their e-government targets, the Council asked us to test their site on realistic end users.
Usability test: Figleaves.com
Figleaves.com is a highly successful lingerie e-commerce site run out of North London and trading in over 80 countries. They invited UserMetrics to test their new site on real-life customers to get usability feedback.
Redesign: Leicestershire County Council
bit10 ltd. beat 15 other suppliers to win the contract to supply Leicestershire County Council with a set of re-designed HTML templates for use in its forthcoming CMS project. A case study will follow when the public site is launched.
Consultancy project: Coventry City Council
bit10 ltd. conducted a consultancy exercise to develop medium and long-term Internet strategies for Coventry City Council. The aim of the project was to have a truer understanding of Council’s needs, and to discuss how they could achieve “joined up thinking” though Internet and Intranet technologies.
