Mission Statement: To discretely provide US troops shipping out overseas with the most sensually pleasing departure possible.
About US: 'Operation Take One For The Country' (abbreviated OTOFTC) is a movement of like-minded women (women predominantly as of right now) who have covertly organized into groups to frequent eating and drinking establishments near armed service bases where troops are preparing to ship out overseas, and take one for the country, so to speak. We are a virtual organization and have no official headquarters or charter. We believe US service men and women deserve our support and we are willing to make caring choices about making them happy.
Kelly here! WOW!! - The site is finally up and running. I guess the time had to come. This site means this organization's existence is no longer covert, but remember, our missions should still be. We all see the news everyday, we know we are at war and the men and women of our armed forces are spread over the world. Many people wonder what they can do to support our troops. There are a thousand things you can do, and supporting the mission of this 'virtual' organization is just one of those things (see links below for other ways to support our troops).
The store is up! Help support OTOFTC© and keep this site running and buy an Official OTOFTC© T-shirt. God Bless Our Troops, God Bless Our President, and GOD BLESS AMERICA! -Kelly McDonough
News and Updates
(Note from Kelly: I will update these as often as I can and have time, Thanks) - Here is the KDRZ interview with Donna and Brenda from Alabama. Thank you both, this was great! - The Jacksonville trip was a great success (see article). Thanks to Jane and Amy for all their help. We had a great 'combat effectiveness rate' of 22%, no MIA's, and everyone home safe. Bus ride back was a bit sad, because we had had such a good time. The girls gave me the nickname 'Sink', really CinC (Commander in Chief), and I think I like that, although we're all CinC of our own destiny. - Reeaaallyy exciting news from the southern California area. Carol K. is really doing a phenomenal job organizing (CinC WEST!!! hehehe) the San Diego OTOFTC battalions. Last time we talked she indicated that she has commitments from some sororities at University of Arizona, Arizona State U., U of Nevada Las Vegas, and U of California Riverside to converge during Spring Break in San Diego! Unbelievable planning, Carol, you ROCK. Keep us up to date on the mission. *** Battalion leaders take note, this could be emulated around the country*** - Kudos to the Memphis Toby Keith Fan Club that morphed itself into an OTOFTC battalion and road tripped to Fort Knox. Way to Go!! - BIG, BIG Call to Arms for all battalions in the New York and New Jersey area. Jenny C. (Newark) is looking to get some really hot gals to get together and go to New York City and see if they can get on The Howard Stern Show. THAT would be huge! - ***BIG BIG WARNING*** the second part of our motto is BE DISCRETE! That means not letting on that you are on an OTOFTC mission. To the group in Galveston Texas (Yes, I got word the NEXT day), you CANNOT, and I mean CANNOT go to a bar and get loaded and start chanting 'TAKE ONE FOR THE COUNTRY' like a zillion times. That's bad. I love you Texan gals and love your spirit but that's not what we are trying to accomplish and it's not safe. - Steph K. is planning a meeting for the 'Surf City Area' - Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, and Newport Beach area, in California. She wants to meet at 'Longboards' (sorry, no address given) on Main Street in Huntington Beach on Saturday 2/28/2004 at 2:00pm, she says she's buying the first round. - A great idea from Shellie A., wife of Lt. A of Ft. Rucker. She is calling on wives of servicemen to have 'Felatio Friday' at least once a month. Awesome awesome idea. I just have to say I love the energy and creativity of the women (and the few men, so far) involved in OTOFTC.
