Don't let your friends know you suck -- get the Ico Super SaveTM today!

Continuing our glorious tradition of bringing you the greatest saved games on the Internet, IGN Insider is today pleased to unveil the Ico Super Save? -- and remember, if it doesn't say Super Save? on the package, it's not worth the download.

Ico of course is a moody new adventure game for the PlayStation 2, in which you drag a badly-dressed princess behind you for hours on end. In fact, we'd call it the world's first girlfriend simulator, but our IGN Japan correspondent Anoop has through strenuous playtesting already demonstrated that dozens of such games currently exist. So let's go to plan B, and refer to Ico as the world's first windmill-climbing simulator.

Our Ico Super Save? contains save points throughout the game, as well as the final possible save (about twenty minutes before the end of the game), so no matter where you got stuck in the vast, windmill-filled world of Ico, you should be able to begin your climbing again.

Enjoy!

Of course, in order to get this wonderful save, you'll need a SharkPort. These can be found at most retailers (like CompUSA) or online at Gameshark.com. This device will let you export saves from your PS2 memory cards onto your PC, or import saves from your PC on to your Memory Card. This is excellent for backing up important saves, trading crucial memory card info from your friends across the country, or downloading codes to be used on your GameShark. In addition to the Super Saves? we provide periodically on Insider, you can download others on IGN Codes or Gameshark.com. So once you get your SharkPort, the fun won't end.

Important: Once you have a SharkPort, install the software provided in the box, then download the newer version of its software. It's a lot more stable and the interface is a bit easier to use. Download this software right here.

Once you have it, download this save:

IGN's ICO Super Save.

Note: This save will not work unless you have installed the new software. Make sure you have downloaded and installed it before going any further.

When the software has loaded, launch the SharkPort2 program and click on the PC Database tab near the bottom of the screen, then select "Import Saves". Find the save on your hard drive, then double click on it or select it and choose "Open." The save should appear in the window as "SSX." Once you see it in the window, check the box next to the save. Now click the "Mem Card" tab to the left of the PC Database tab. Then hit "Restore," causing your computer to transfer the save to the memory card. Voila! You've got it.

If you have questions, feel free to email El Sexo at this address. He should be able to help you with any problems in getting this save to download properly, but please, before you ask him any questions, read our instructions and read the manual thoroughly.
