Speaker: Tom Roeser



Tom Roeser is a Chicago Sun Times columnist and WLS 890 talk radio show host. He appears occasionally on WTTW-Channel 11 and other television channels as a political analyst.

Mr. Roeser is Distinguished Professor of Public Policy at Roosevelt University.

Mr. Roeser is chairman of the City Club of Chicago, the city’s oldest organization devoted to civic reform. He is a director of the Better Government Association and the Landmark Legal Defense Committee, serves on the Chicago Committee of the Council on Foreign Relations, and is an active member of Rotary One, the founding chapter of Rotary International.

Mr. Roeser was vice president of government relations for the Quaker Oats Company in Chicago for 27 years. He has served for short periods of time in the federal government as assistant secretary of commerce and as director of Congressional relations of the Peace Corps.
