Over the years Chagres has built a solid repuation as a leading consulting company. Both founders are active within the IETF, ICANN, NANOG, RIPE, APNIC, and ARIN communities. The company has presented at many technical forums including NANOG, ARIN, RIPE, and ICANN.

John Brown serves as the companies CEO, The visionary and idea person.

Suzanne Woolf serves in an advisory capacity while working for another leading internet software company.

In 2003, the company began providing technical staffing solutions for its customers. Chagres is in the unique position of knowing many highly skilled and qualified technical people, and works with great companies that are at times hiring. In late 2003 John Brown was contracted by Geek Publisher O'Reilly and Associates to write a new and practical book on Internet Firewall's. This book will allow the reader to actually build a working and scaleable firewall using Open Source tools.
