		The Boehringer Ingelheim COPD Communication Award Eloquium, an international media award, was
launched on 20 November 2002. With two months to go until this year's submission deadline of 19 September 2004 the countdown started. A special website dedicated to the award - www.eloquium.org - offers a broad range of information for interested parties and download possibilities for the application form. The Boehringer Ingelheim COPD Communication Award Eloquium is an initiative to recognise journalists who extend public awareness and understanding of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The second Eloquium Award will be presented on World COPD Day 2004 on 17 November.
