According to the government's flawed Body Mass Index (BMI) standard, over 75 U.S. athletes competing on the biggest stage in sports are officially "overweight" or "obese." Iconic Chef Julia Child Passes Away Julia Child, one of America's greatest personalities and its foremost ambassador to the joy of eating, died yesterday at the age of 91. In addition to her longevity and zest for life, what was remarkable about Child was the pleasure she took in eating, drinking, and cooking -- as well as her willingness to stand up to the food-cop crowd that lives to scare Americans away from our favorite meals.
