Welcome to
Dean Rosler's ESL page. As a teacher at Curé-Antoine-Labelle High School, I have created this page in order to help both teachers and students with their teaching and learning of English. A large number of useful resources can be found here which are intended to assist teachers and students interested by English through technology.
If you are interested in finding resources and lesson plans for other subject areas (math, science, art, music, social sciences, and foreign languages), please visit the
Teacher Forum, which was created by Jennison Asuncion, Heidi Schnackenberg, and Dean Rosler.
La page Web d'anglais de Dean
Bienvenue à la page Web d'anglais langue seconde de
Dean Rosler de l'école Curé-Antoine-Labelle. Cette page est créée pour les enseignant(e)s et étudiant(e)s qui veulent améliorer leurs connaissances en anglais en se servant de la technologie. Vous pourriez découvrir plusieurs ressources que j'espère peuvent s'avérer très utiles.
This Web site has been divided into several sections:
- Student & Teacher Resources which includes lesson plans, ESL resources, reference guides, newspapers, writing guides, quotations, and search engines.
- Dean's Listening and Speaking Guide which contains dozens of useful activities and an annotated bibliography as well as related links.
- Grammar, Writing & Vocabulary which provides quizzes, idioms, and sites which focus on English usage.
- Literature containing Language Arts resources, poetry, theatre, short stories, and novels.
- Chats and E-mail Exchanges where students may communicate with other English speakers and learners. Also includes a message board.
- Miscellaneous Learning Fun where students can find great sites on music, movies, television, magazines, sports, games, & humour.
- Links to other great ESL Web pages such as The ESL Loop, Dave's ESL Cafe, and many more.
- Research Paper describing the manner in which this Web site was developed for a reading course at Concordia University.
Please feel free to check out my students' Web pages, some of which are truly exceptional.
