Looking Glass Studios Announces Flight Combat: Thunder Over Europe

Combat: Thunder Over Europe, a WWII air combat simulation where
gamers experience the life and death struggle that was air combat
over Europe in the 1940's. The flight sim masters at Looking Glass
Studios today officially announced the development of this authentic
WWII flight simulation and the launch of the Flight Combat Web site
Flight Combat will be published by Electronic Arts and is scheduled
for a Fall 1999 release.
Flight Combat: Thunder Over Europe features fully scaleable gameplay that
will enable expert players and novices alike to dive right into combat.
Pilots can choose from a wide range of unique flyable aircraft, including
sleek, single-seat fighters and multi-stationed strategic bombers, as they
fly over accurately rendered WWII scenery created by a terrain engine
developed from Looking Glass' years of flight simulation expertise. In
addition, Flight Combat will feature authentic aircraft dynamics and flight
models, a physics-driven damage system, weather effects, multiplayer
support, major European historical and natural landmarks and moving ground
