‘Daisy' drivers navigate tricky racial road
Lance Nichols wants to make one thing clear: He has nothing but respect for Hoke Coleburn. The veteran actor plays Hoke for the third time in the New Theatre production of “Driving Miss Daisy” and dismisses any suggestion that there's anything demeaning about the role of an African-American chauffeur who over the course of 25 years bonds with the white woman for whom he drives.

As president he hopes to add young members
