COMMUNIST PARTY OF IRELAND / PÁIRTÍ CUMANNACH NA hÉIREANN
For peace, unity, and socialism
Ar son na síochána, na haontachta, agus an tsóisialachais

The Communist Party of Ireland is an all-Ireland Marxist party founded in 1933. Its aim is to advance the struggle for national unity and independence and for socialism—the public ownership and control of the means of production.

Socialist movements throughout the world are undergoing renewal, and Ireland is no exception. The growing gulf between rich and poor, the destruction of society by the unbridled greed of capitalism, the undermining of democracy by the economic and military power of imperialism and the destruction of the environment by big business have given a new validity and new life to the socialist alternative.
Páirtí Marxach uile-Éireann a bunaíodh sa bhliain 1933 is ea Páirtí Cumannach na hÉireann. Is é aidhm an pháirtí an ghluaiseacht ar son aontacht agus neamhspleáchas náisiúnta agus ar son an tsóisialachais—seilbh agus smacht poiblí ar na córacha táirgthe—a chur chun cinn.

Tá gluaiseachtaí sóisialacha ar fud an domhain i mbun athnuachan, agus in Éirinn mar an gcéanna. Toisc an scoilt mhéadaitheach idir saibhir agus bocht, scrios an tsaoil ag saint dhoshrianta an chapitleachais, an bonn á bhaint ón daonlathas ag cumhacht eacnamaíoch agus míleata an impiriúlachais, agus scrios na timpeallachta ag na hollghnóthais, tá bailíocht nua agus beocht nua á dtabhairt don rogha shóisialach.

Cuban doctors remain in Haïti Fanann dochtúirí Cubacha i Haïti
Despite the serious political crisis and social instability in Haïti, Cuban doctors continue to provide a health service to the people. Cuba has been co-operating with Haïti for more than five years, with Cuban doctors distributed throughout the country assisting 75 per cent of the population. The Cuban embassy in Haïti has said that the team of 525 physicians will not abandon the Haïtian people and will continue to work under any circumstance. D’ainneoin na géarchéime polaitiúla agus na neamhsheasmhachta sóisialta i Haïti, leanann dochtúirí Cubacha leo ag soláthar seirbhís sláinte don phobal. Tá Cuba ag comhoibriú le Haïti le cúig bliana anuas, dochtúirí Cubacha scaipthe tríd an tír agus iad ag tabhairt cúnamh do 75 faoin gcéad den phobal. Dúirt ambasáid Cuba i Haïti nach dtréigfidh na 525 dhochtúir muintir Haïti ach go leanfaidh siad ag obair ar chúinse ar bith.
