MaxMan is a plug-in which allows 3d Studio Max users to render their scenes with RenderMan. Max users don't have to modify their scenes for use with MaxMan because the system automatically converts and handles all geometry and material hierarchies. MaxMan writes RenderMan shaders on the fly to match Max's comprehensive standard material library. Advanced features such as PRMan's subdivision and implicit surfaces are also handled. RenderMan shaders can also be attached from within 3d Studio Max. Supports BMRT and PRman for NT and Unix.
