| All AT/PS style keyboards | IBM's keyboard interfaces are divided into two styles: AT and PS. The AT connections use a 5-pin DIN for keys. The PS connections use the 6-pin mini-DIN for the keys as well as an additional 6-pin mini-DIN for the mouse function. The PS-style connections are compatible with most IBM Personal Systems(1), ThinkPad computers, PC 300 Series and PC 700 Series systems and Aptiva computers, as well as compatible machines from other leading manufacturers. |
The Standard Keyboard's rubber-dome key technology makes it extremely quiet and very affordable. Other performance features in the new 104-key layout include: 12 function keys, scroll, num and caps lock, cursor directional keys, numerical keypad and more. To complement your ThinkPad or desktop system, this keyboard comes in two colors, raven black or pearl white.
The Standard Keyboard can be used with most IBM Personal Systems(1), ThinkPad computers, PC 300 Series and PC 700 Series systems, Aptiva computers and compatibles. It's IBM quality at a low price.

Every key has IBM's buckling-spring technology that gives you positive tactile and audible feedback. Its design incorporates user-adjustable feet and a curved profile that is ideal for comfortable use in all work environments. To complete the look of your system, this keyboard comes available in raven black or pearl white.
If you never have enough room on your desk, the integrated TrackPoint II eliminates the need for a mouse and saves your precious desk space for other work. And if you're used to the convenience of the TrackPoint II on your ThinkPad, why not have it at your desktop, too.
For your work that requires intensive cursor control, the Enhanced Keyboard with TrackPoint II offers maximum flexibility. Your mouse doesn't have to disappear, just attach it to the keyboard. Now you have complete control.
The Enhanced Keyboard with TrackPoint II may be ordered separately as an upgrade or replacement for the keyboard supplied with an IBM or compatible system using PS-style connections. This means it works with IBM Personal Systems,(1) as well as with IBM ThinkPad computers, PC 300 Series and PC 700 Series systems, Aptiva computers and a wide spectrum of industry-standard PCs.
