Le Monde surrenders
It's official. France's leading newspaper has acknowledged the country's creeping change as the heart and soul of the new Eurabia. And they do it in the context of an editorial decrying the terrorist hostage-takers who are trying to get France to overturn the hijab ban.
The editorial makes some quite sane points, which in itself is unusual for Le Monde, but look at what they slip in without even realising what they're saying...
France, despite or even because of its status as the largest Muslim state in Europe, has become a preferred target of this ideological war.
"The largest Muslim state in Europe".
Remember this day. It's the day dhimmitude won a great victory. It's up there with the day the Germans marched into Paris. The new invaders don't wear field grey though.
They're dressed in jihad green. They don't even represent most Muslims. And we're letting them win without firing a shot.
Well, remember, the last time the French actively defended Paris was from Joan of Arc...
"The biggest Muslim state in Europe" could be an innocent error - they probably simply meant "The state with the biggest Muslim population."
Still, the slip is quite revealing - in a Freudian sense.
What I find more revealing is the pathetic gratitude Le Monde displays for the stand of French Muslims who are, after all, only expressing the concern that any citizens of any country would express at the kidnapping of fellow-citizens.
It is, however, an interesting phenomenon, given the near-total silence from Muslims worldwide at Islamic terror. Could it be that they are starting to wake up? Or is it more a matter of self-interest and self-preservation?
There are some truly moderate Muslim voices in France.
Maybe it wasn't really a French guy who wrote that, but just a guy from Detroit whose butt speaks French.
