Hurricane Frances Blog: Still On-Line

Saturday, 04 September 2004 Mid-afternoon on Saturday and all seems well - here in Orlando. It's a whole different story along the east coast (i.e. Vero Beach) where the outer bands of the storm are making landfall. Final preparations are complete here in the apartment. Hurricane Frances Blog: The Winds Pick Up

Saturday, 04 September 2004 I'm in the process of making my final preparations for Hurricane Frances, which include removing the tonneau cover/sail from my truck, cleaning and filling the bathtubs with fresh water for washing the stink off me in coming days and eating all the popsicles in my freezer so I don't end up with a sticky, rainbow-colored cleanup in the coming days. Hurricane Frances Blog: The Calm Before the Storm
