Pokémon Rocks America is just getting started, and now we’re ready to touch down in the brisk city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Saturday, head on down to the Mall of America for a rousing celebration of all things Pokémon!
Pokémon Rocks Minneapolis
Saturday, October 16th
10 am – 4 pm
Mall of America
North Parking Lot
Corner of 24th Avenue and Lindau Lane
Try out the latest Pokémon video games in the Gamers’ Den with interactive gaming stations featuring the newest stars in the Pokémon lineup, Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen! You can also bring your own Pokémon games to trade Pokémon with our talented staff.
In the Pokémon Union Room, put the wireless adapter included with your FireRed or LeafGreen video game to work as you battle, trade, and communicate with other Pokémon fans!
But the best reason of all to bring your Game Boy Advance and a Pokémon FireRed or Pokémon LeafGreen game is that this will be a rare opportunity to catch the elusive Pokémon Deoxys! Head to the Deoxys Distribution Tent to receive an Aurora Ticket – which will take you where you need to be in the game to catch Deoxys. Check out the handy tutorial here on Pokémon.com or pick up the latest issue of Pokémon Fan at the event to find instructions on how to prepare your game for the Aurora Ticket and how to catch Deoxys.
There’s plenty to do at Pokémon Rocks Minneapolis besides video games, though. Learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game and face down opponents big and small at the Trading Card Game Arena! Play a few Pokémon carnival games, or if you’re truly brave, go on stage and sing and dance for some great prizes! Or check out the premiere of the latest Pokémon Advanced Challenge episode on the big screen. You can normally watch Pokémon Advanced Challenge every Saturday at 10am on Kids WB!, but since a lot of Pokémon fans are going to be at the event, we’re going to make sure they don’t miss a thing!
