Christopher Reeve, our inspirational Chairman, passed away on October 10, 2004 from heart failure. He was 52 years old.
Christopher was a hero to many people, yet he was most moved by others, stating,
"I think a hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles." He adamantly believed that nothing was impossible and worked tirelessly to find a cure for paralysis.

"So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable." -- Christopher Reeve
