Hey there! Oh man, two days in, and the excitement of it all has returned. Like the irresistible, pathetic overuse of the word-count function. And the way a left-field inspiration can become an essential fulcrum for the book. Today I was riding my bike to a coffeeshop to write the first chapter of my nano-novel, when I saw an adolescent girl and her parents looking quizzically at a dumpy apartment complex.
