What's up with the next book, bub?
Below are the next four books that Dav is working on now. (8/30/2004)

Captain Underpants and the Preposterous Plight of the Purple Potty People
Part 1: The Clash of the Colossal Kung-Fu Monkeys from Beyond Infinity

In this story, George, Harold, Sulu, and Crackers accidentally end up in an alternate universe where the whole world is the opposite of their normal world. Good is bad, smart is dumb, and heroes are villains.

Will George and Harold be able to stop a vicious plot that threatens to destroy this world... and their own? . What will happen to Sulu and Crackers after they are kidnapped and turned into fiendish gangster thugs? And HOW will mankind survive when Captain Underpants LOSES his super powers?

Get ready for action, laffs, and shockingly offensive violence, as Captain Underpants faces off against his horrible evil twin, the terrifying Captain Blunderpants. Oh yes, and we think there might possibly be a sub-plot concerning monkeys. We'll see about that one...

Hopefully, the good guys will win, and they'll all escape from this alternate reality without bringing any of it's inherent naughtiness back to the real world... because if anything else goes wrong, this story might have to be continued...

Captain Underpants and the Preposterous Plight of the Purple Potty People
Part 2: The Terrifying Return of Tippy Tinkletrousers

Just when they thought things couldn't get any worse, George and Harold's old enemy, Professor Poopypants (who recently changed his name to Tippy Tinkletrousers), escapes from prison to exact his revenge.

Can the world survive a battle of giant dinosaurs, amusingly-named evil villains, a fat guy in his underwear, and an army of gigantic mechanical kung-fu monkeys from an alternate reality?

What will become of our beloved planet? How will the good guys survive? And who the heck is "Boxer Boy" and "Great Granny Girdle"??? Find out the answers to these questions, and much, much more when Dav Pilkey finally gets around to finishing these two books.

Warning: Two of the main characters from the Captain Underpants series will die in this story. And it won't be one of those "fakey" deaths where they come back to life at the end of the book. They will die for real. You have been warned... so no complainin'.

Super Diaper Baby 2:
The Invasion of the Potty Snatchers By George Beard and Harold Hutchins

George and Harold may be busy saving the world, but they still have time to make a full-length graphic novel every now and then.

In the sequel to their first mega-hit, Super Diaper Baby and his loyal companion, Diaper Dog, must Save the world from the sinister evil villain, Pee-Pee Longstockings.

When Pee-Pee and his ornery cat, Ralph, decide to steal all the world's toilets (thus enslaving mankind), only one pint-sized hero (and his dog) can save the day.

Get ready for more action, laffs, and inappropriate humor, from the silly minds of George Beard and Harold Hutchins.

Can Ricky save his giant best friend from the spellbinding trap of the Ladybot, or will all the mice on Earth become slaves of Uncle Unicorn and his Uranium Unicorns from Uranus?

Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy, Parts 1 and 2

Coming in the Fall of 2003.
Right now, Dav Pilkey is hard at work on TWO new Captain Underpants epic novels. Here's the scoop:

September 27, 2002: Dav finishes the first draft of Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy, Part 1. In this epic tale, George and Harold must save the day once again when a messy prank sets off a chain-reaction which could ultimately enslave all of humankind. Watch for Melvin Sneedley (from Attack of the Talking Toilets) to return as the nerdy super-genius whose hunger for for vengeance gets him into a snotty situation!

October 30, 2002: Dav finishes first draft of Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy, Part 2: The Revenge of the Ravenous Robo-Boogers. This story picks up where the cliffhanger at the end of the last novel left off. The Bionic Booger Boy may have met his match, but the Robo-Boogers are still on the loose. It's a monster mashin', robo-wranglin', time travelin', brain-switchin', nose-pickin' good time! It's SNOT funny!
