Freepers promote the New American Values

The God-fearing patriotic folks at the Free Republic have come to the defense of the heroic Marine who executed the wounded, defenseless man in a Fallujah house of worship. They've identified the real criminal in the affair, the reporter, Kevin Sites.

Can the Pentagon charge Kevin Sites?

Was not the reporter under the duty to hand over this tape to military authorities, under the rules of imbeds? If that's the case then strong measures should be taken against Sites.
---
I sincerely hope... But I'd rather the Marines dish out the justice.
---
Turn Sites over to the terrorist.
---
That tape should have gone to DOD for vetting first!!
---
No need for anything overt. Unfortunate things happen in combat zones, and if the reporter fails to hear someone yell "Sniper!!", well, c'est la guerre.
---
The US attorney general may be able to charge him with sedition.
---
Someone should've deserted him right before sunset in Fallujah, or some such treatment.
---
I wish. This guy Sites shouldn't walk away from this unscathed. Red America wants justice.
---
If the government won't police the press there will come a day when the people will.
---
It better charge Sites, that treasonous bastard!

---
Michael Savage is on fire over this issue.
---
He's an effin traitor. He is aiding the enemy. He should be tried and killed.
---
He sure behaved like a Judas didn't he? He certainly is doing the leg work for our Islamofascist enemies
---
Kevin Sites is a traitor. He shouldn't be allowed to get away with this
---
The Constitution was written for the common man and for Christian's sense of Justice. Common law represents God's law. American Justice may seem rough and crude to you, but it is based on godly liberties. Sites is in a WAR ZONE. He has aided the enemy. If he cared about what was going he should have ran back to the brass...not to MSNBC. He's either looking for a pulitzer or he's effin traitor. Either way...he's done.

A sweep in the Evergreen State?

My inner Frenchman thinks that Gregoire might just end up beating the God's Own Party candidate in the Washington gubernatorial race. He writes about it at TAS.

It's about morals not exploitation--really, it is.

I didn't hear this call to Dr. Laura, but from the letter on her website, I bet it was interesting. Some might use this as an example of how Dr. Laura is more interested in exploitation than she is in helping people make hard moral choices, but they'd be ignoring the hard moral question of whether you should have sex with your dog in front of your children.

Date: 2004-11-08

Dr Laura,

I found the caller whose daughter-in-law was giving her dog sex on demand in front of her children ridiculous if it were not so sad. Even worse was her reply to your (logical) suggestion to get CPS involved "then they will take the kids away". CPS was NOT a bad idea. Here are some more ideas.

My first response (I am not as polite as you are):
WHO in the HELL IS IN CHARGE HERE, THE PEOPLE OR THE DOG????? By annoying the woman with the barking, the dog is basically training her to give him sex on demand, a skill a lot of human males would love to learn.

How about neutering the dog. This stops the urge, if the dog isn't too old. How about a no-bark collar? This stops the bark, is inexpensive, and is not cruel. If all else fails - how about getting rid of the dog (as opposed to getting rid of the children???????)

The daughter-in-law needs some help, serious help, and the son is in the same boat for allowing his kids to see this and to think it is OK, which it is NOT.

Grandma knows that trans species doggie sex this is not OK for the kids to see or she wouldn't have called you in the first place. Grandma is pretty selfish if her first concern is "they may take the kids away." It is more important that the kids grow into healthy good human beings, not that Grandma get to see them whenever she wants or that her precious son doesn't get his feelings hurt. Maybe if the kids WERE, removed from this situation, he might finally understand the level of unacceptability of "doing it doggie style" in front of CHILDREN.

Onward and Upward with the Ownership Society

It's been two weeks since Our Leader convincingly and decisively showed the world that he is loved by all the people who share his goals. Unfortunately, a small group of whiny recidivists are still complaining about how these people were counted. Our business partner, Diebold, has a solution for everyone.

Our loyalists in Congress insured that any acts requiring verification of proprietary vote-counting software were kept off the floor. That prevented any State Supreme Court shenanigans, for how can there be a recount without any actual ballots to count?

As Our Leader has shared with his supporters, his very first edict after the Reaccession was to return Social Security to the corporations it had been stolen from. Most analysts interpreted this to mean some form of riskier investment accounts. But Our Leader doesn't make small or gradual changes. And our partners at Diebold already have the technology to implement his edict directly.

So don't worry how much money is in a bank account when we abolish the FDIC and the Federal Reserve system. That's right, take a look at who made those ATMs.

The ownership society: it's simply a matter of who ends up owning whom.

Let Dick slap him around with his...uhhh...thing

The General has mixed feelings about Michael Schwartz being picked to be Senator-elect Tom Coburn's top staffer. Sure, he's been one of conservative Christianity's fiercest holy warriors. I don't need to be reminded that while serving the blue-haired legion of angry church ladies at Concerned Women for America, he was an unwavering advocate for the Christian man's right to employ his steel-toed boots of compassion when witnessing to homosexuals. And my heart skipped a beat when he bravely repeated what my inner Frenchman calls a blood libel for gays:

The child abuse crisis is, for the most part, a symptom of the homosexualization of the priesthood.

But, I also recall that he has been less than loyal to Our Leader. Indeed, he committed the most grievous crime possible against The Chosen One--he accused him of making a mistake.

Yes, after looking at Our Leader's record of the last four years, Schwartz ignored Our Leader's successes in invading Iraq, creating jobs, protecting the environment, and bringing integrity back to the White House and wrote the following:

Certainly the biggest failure of this administration is the fact that RU-486 is still on the market.

While it comforts this Christian soldier to see Schwartz and Coburn working together to achieve a kind of Christian critical mass of hatred, I worry that the former might repeat his disloyalty. Perhaps we could threaten him with the Deputy Leader's Mighty Manly Bulge of Fealty.

Meet your war-bloggers

I don't think the brave men and women of the 101st Fighting Keyboard Battalion get enough credit for the hard work they do defending freedom in the Eternal War to Resubjugate Brown People, so I thought it'd be a good idea to profile a few of them every now and then. Today, we'll meet Sean and Chad of pass the ammo.

Sean is the thinker of the team, a student at the University of San Diego who someday wants to get a PhD "in some form of molecular biology." Although he proudly calls himself a conservative Christian, he's quick to point out that he doesn't make kneejerk decisions when it comes to politics. Instead, he tries to see every side of an issue:

One thing that I really pride myself in, is the fact that I like to look at both sides of an argument before I formulate my opinion on a subject. For example, I will watch both Fox News and MSNBC.

I think that's a good rule to follow. I mean how can you really understand an issue until you've heard what both Hannity and Scarborough have to say about it.

Chad, a conservative Christian who calls Hayden Lake, Idaho, home, is the pass the ammo team's man of action. He lives for it as the following passage from the blog demonstrates:

Workin in the shop with Jared today, I happened to get wacked over the head with a 2x4. Jared was pullin nails out of one, while the other was resting up against the bench (not smart craftsmanship). I was leaning against the bench facing away from Jared, when this 8 footer began falling towards me, only to crack me across the back of the head.

So I've had a nice headache all day. But you know what? I like it.

Yes. Thats right. You heard correctly. Contrary to popular belief, I strive on violence. It happens to be the only language I understand.

Chad's also a quite the photographer. A whole section of the blog is devoted to his work. Most of the pictures show him holding a firearm and something he killed. He grips the long, hardened steel barrels of his weapons tightly in his hands as a lusty twinkle of excitement dances a lambada in his eyes and a wickedly inviting smile slithers between his long, Elvis-like side-burns. It's clear that in that moment of pure ecstasy, he's in his own world, forgetting even his own name, Chad, which he despises for probably the same reasons he bought all that firepower.

We learn a lot about Chad at pass the ammo. He posts a litany of his short, simple thoughts on the "about" page. I'll leave you with some of the General's favorites:

"If killing commie's was legal, boy would I be tempted."

"My hero's have always been cowboys and pirates."

"Most of my relatives were born in Texas. I wish I was too."

"I was bucked off a mule when I was 11."

"Without my trusty pocket knife, I feel naked."

"I have had 5 dreams, where I killed a criminal."

"When I was born, a vessel burst in my head. I was a conehead for a time."

"Since age 3, I have always owned camo's."

"I could survive on beef jerky alone."

"I have only been to 7 States of the Union."

"Shotshell solves many of my problems."

"I will be a wolverine if Red Dawn should ever happen."

"Once I drove for 16 hours straight."

"Bill Oreilly is the only one in the news that makes sense, nowadays."

Our Leader's base

A post at the seditiously French blog, Orcinus, pointed the General to a site where the most patriotic supporters of The Chosen One have posted their pictures. This is Our Leader's base. Comforting, isn't it.

Cheney's mighty bulge of truth and justice

Thank God Deputy Leader Dick is OK. I thought this was going to be the big one.

I learned today that he may have already brought back a form of marquette. Certainly this woman's claims of human hunts suggest so, and by the looks of this photo, her description of him is spot on.

Maybe that's why he was so short of breath. I imagine that the temporary reallocation of blood might also cause some dizziness.

But then again, maybe it's only the transmitter for the thing Our Leader was wearing during the debates. It would make sense for it to be there, because this administration chooses to think with it's little soldier rather than it's brain. And thank God for that. It's the only way we'd have ever invaded Iraq.

Update: Or maybe it's one of these. There's nothing wrong with a man wearing a male incontinence appliance. I wear one myself. It allows me to sit in front of my computer fighting the war against terrorism for as long as mom keeps bringing the Cheetos.
