CAP@CMU Program Submissions

CAP welcomes proposals dealing with all aspects of computing and philosophy. Proposals for panels are also encouraged. Please look at previous CAP programs for the types of presentations and panels that we have accepted in the past.

The deadline for submissions to CAP@CMU in 2004 is February 16th, 2004. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for CAP conferences, consider the following formats:

Proposals for presentations should consist of a 2-3 paragraph abstract (URLs pointing to fuller descriptions and/or examples can be included in the abstract; PowerPoint Slides for the proposed presentation can also be included). Please e-mail proposals to the following contacts and adhere to the proposal format: Name, Affiliation, E-mail and Snail Mail, Proposal Category (consult below), and Proposal Abstract. In the subject field of your e-mail, please put "CAP 2004" and your "last name." This will help us discuss and file your submission.

Proposals for CAP@CMU should be sent to the appropriate Committee Chair listed below. If a proposal does not fit into a specified committee field, submit your proposal through the category of "Other" and send it direclty to the Program Chair (Kari Coleman). More information about the tracks can be found in on a Proposal Guidelines Page.
