Size: Finished size approximately 50" x 72".

Materials: Worsted-weight yarn Red Heart® JewelTones, 325 yards per 6 oz/170g skein for solids and 290 yards per 5 oz/143g skein for ombres by Coats & Clark: 2 skeins #3021 Prism (Col A-ombre); 1 skein each #3370 Fuchsia (Col B), #3356 Amethyst (Col C) & #3388 Turquoise (Col D). Worsted-weight yarn Red Heart® Super Saver®, 452 yards per 8 oz/229g skein by Coats & Clark: 5 skeins #312 Black (Col E). Crochet hook size J/10 (6mm) or size needed to obtain Gauge.

Gauge: 1 square = 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". To save time, take time to check your gauge.

Square 1 (make 39)
With Col A, ch 4; join with a sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: (RS) Ch 3, 2 dc in ring, [ch 2, 3 dc in ring] 3 times, ch 2; join with a sl st to top of ch-3. Fasten off.
Rnd 2: With RS facing, attach Col B in any ch-2 sp. (Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) all in same sp, ch 1, [(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) all in next ch-2 sp, ch 1] 3 times; join. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: With RS facing, attach Col E in any ch-2 corner sp. (Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) all in same sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, [(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) all in next ch-2 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1] 3 times; join. Fasten off.
Rnd 4: With RS facing, attach Col A in first dc of the 3-dc group before any ch-2 corner sp. Ch 1, sc in first 3 dc, *ch 3, sk ch-2 corner sp, [sc in next 3 dc, ch 1, sk next ch-1 sp] twice**, sc in next 3 dc; rep from * around, end at **; join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
Rnd 5: With RS facing, attach Col E in same sc as join of Rnd 4. Ch 1, sc in first 3 sc, *working over the ch-3 of Rnd 4, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all into ch-2 corner sp of Rnd 3, [sc in next 3 sc, working over the ch-1 of Rnd 4, dc in next ch-1 sp of Rnd 3] twice**, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * around, end at **; join to first sc. Fasten off.

Square 2 (make 39)
Work same as Square 1 except work Rnd 2 with Col C.

Work same as Square 1 except work Rnd 2 with Col D.

Finishing (make 39)
Following diagram, sew squares tog through back lps.

Edging
Rnd 1:
With RS facing, attach Col E in upper right ch-2 corner sp. Ch 1, **3 sc in ch-2 corner sp, sc in next 15 sts, *sc in next ch-sp, sc in seam, sc in next ch-sp, sc in next 15 sts; rep from * to next corner; rep from ** around; join to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, **(Sc, [ch 3, sc] twice) all in next (corner) sc, sk next 2 sc, *(sc, ch 3, sc) all in next sc, sk next 2 sc; rep from * to next corner sc; rep from ** around; join to first sc. Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
