The Cincinnati Enquirer's Great Neighborhood Series - Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003
Welcome to the city of Montgomery, and Sycamore Township, subjects of the Enquirer's latest Great Neighborhood special section.
Montgomery, population about 10,000, is the best of both worlds - historic and suburban.
When people think of the city, they think of ribs at the Montgomery Inn, quaint storefronts of the Heritage District and the Universalist Church (circa 1837), at Montgomery and Remington roads.
Surrounding Sycamore Township, population about 20,000, is old, too, but not until after World War II did it start booming as a suburban community. Now it is also the home of Kenwood Towne Centre and a number of major companies scattered throughout the community.
Come travel with us as we take you on a tour of these two Great Neighborhoods.
