After working on too many engines this winter I'm finishing up my own. You never know what you're going to find. |

This is what cavitation does to an impeller. That didn't get that way from sucking sand - that's hot air that burned it that way. I replaced it with a $olas piece. |

What the heck is that thing in this photo? I felt something rough on this new piston ring. It wouldn't come off. It may be a sort of chrome spray that's stuck to the rings edge - within the black circle in the right photo. The manufacturer replaced it without question. I took this picture while holding a 10X jewelers loupe in front of my video camera so it could be seen better. |
