Canterbury College @ Herne Bay
The 'Canterbury College@Herne Bay' learning centre is equipped with up-to-date computing equipment, providing a range of information technology and basic skills programmes. Career information, advice and guidance services are also available.
The provision of the Centre has been made possible through funding from UKonline, Department for Education and Skills 'New Opportunities Fund', South East England Development Agency and single Regeneration Budget Coastal Partnership.
Lorraine Dagg and Victoria Rogers, UKonline Co-ordinators, have put considerable time and effort into making the Centre a very pleasant facility for the whole local community to use. Courses range from short taster sessions, where people can learn the basics of using a computer, through to courses offering a qualification. We hope that the whole community will come to view it as their learning centre and make full use of the excellent facilities available.
