Project Overview

The Jockey Club of Kenya was established in 1904 to encourage, promote and control horse racing in Kenya and to make and enforce rules and regulations to enable it to carry out this objective.

Ngong Racecourse, the JCK's main asset, is situated 9.5kms from the Nairobi Central Business District on one of the main arterial routes leading from the city. The site is close to the affluent suburbs of Karen, Langata, Lavington, and Kilimani. It covers over 400 acres of land.

Through JCK development Committee, fourteen(14) areas of developments have been idetified (more details can be found on the Site location Masterplan page of this site). Currently, two of the development areas are under construction. They are Area Code1(Office park) and Area Code 12(Racecourse facilities, training facilities and golf course development). More exciting development opportunities currently exist within the secured grounds of the Racecourse Property.

JCK is flexible on the finance, development and partnership structure of these projects, and will give consideration to any sound business plan put forward.

The Jockey club of Kenya goal is to achieve long-term income streams from these developments.

Thank you and Welcome!!
