The purpose of this website is to attempt to bridge the gap between what goes on in second language education research and what is being done in English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms.
Ideally, research should enhance second language pedagogy, however, it is often the case that language teachers, for whatever reasons (busy, isolated, and so on) are not aware of trends and/or developments in research.
A little mixture of lifelong learning and professional reflection can go a long way.
If you are a language teacher, browse through a few of the interesting areas that relate to the second language classroom. If you are a researcher, maybe you will find a few sources that fit with what you are doing.
I sincerely hope that you will find at least one link within this website that may be of help to you.
