I need to learn more special algorithms to be faster.

My first sub-7 average! Not including any lucky cases (just some easy ones), and done on the official Stackmat timer. Thanks to Geatan Guimond. It's very easy to start with other colours with his method.

Measured with the very convenient ultimate Rubik's cube timer from www.rubiks.dk zz

My previous average was only a few tenths of a second better but this one was actually much better because I got alot of good times without all the lucky PLL skips. 4.01 was PLL skip. Might have been one other. Still the only sub ten lions-- maybe I shouldnt have lent Mr. Winokur my 2 by 2.

1311.0 secondsDuane Cash7.0 10.0 12.0 10.1 13.3 12.2 17.0 (19.1) 9.9 (4.5) 18.5
This was done on a mini-cube that had been lubed considerably. That made all the difference.

Did this on an Eastsheen 2x2x2. Before I was using a Rubiks one. The Eastsheen's size makes it great for performing triggers faster!

[2003-Oct-03] I finally took a new average on the 2x2x2! This was done without having solved the 2x2 cube for weeks, if not months. The 9.02 was definitely lucky - skipped the first of the 3 steps in my solution (one face was a solid color).

First 2x2x2 average. Maybe when I lube it some more, I will get faster.

I sometimes get these odd stretches of time where my 2x2 solving times drop by 3-4 seconds (this was one of them).

Top 10 !! (lol, ok, there's only 13 other people....) It was my first average ever on that little thing. I use firdrish ! I maybe will learn Gaetan Guimond Corner fisrt method algs to average under 10sec... :-) http://www.bikskru.fr.st

There must be a better method than the one I use to get sub 10 times consistently.
