Eric Larson of Prescott
Eric Larson of Prescott
Eric Larson of Prescottis a reluctant auto-biographer. The one subject on which he is the absolute world authority is also his least favorite to write about. Born in 1975, the year of Apollo-Soyuz. (Apollo-what?) Exactly, nothing much else happened that year, eventually it will be known far and wide as the year Eric Larson was born; perhaps with a national holiday on his birthday. Although he concedes that Dr. Seuss should get a holiday first as they share the same birthday. March 2nd if you're curious.

Eric likes a loose-fitting large shirt and looks good in blue, black and dark red if you're shopping for next year already. Mr. Geisel (a.k.a. Dr Seuss) has sadly passed on and we're not sure what size he wore in life nor his color preferences. Eric was born in Pennsylvania, lived in northern California for a while, and now resides in the Prescott suburb of Prescott Valley.

He began writing poetry seriously (as seriously as he takes anything) in 2002, and then got hooked on the roar of the crowd at the 2003 Arcosanti Slab City Slam. 2004 will be his first appearance at a National Poetry Slam as a member of the inaugural NORAZ National Poetry Slam Team that will compete in St. Louis in August.. Eric is an occasional student at Yavapai College and drives a van when not writing or slamming. His major influences are the universe at large and everyone and everything in it.
