The idea for these book groups comes from a variety of sources. It began when my good friend Betsy offered to let me read her paper on book groups for a graduate education class. I thought it was such a fun idea for students to be able to discuss books they've read together. Since the Hansons are home-schooled I imagined them having their chats among each other. One of my internet buddies who read the script before it was posted (who I might add is a proud Wishbone fan as well :-D), generously compared this idea to that fine PBS show. These book chats are purely imaginary, but I hope you enjoy them and maybe you might pick up one or two things about these fine pieces of literature too.
