About ULK:
ULK was forged in early December, 2003, a time when we were small, yet flourishing ever since. Its core members consisting of former VCP, undoubtedly the best gang around at that time, ULK has grown to something much more. With honest and skillful players, excellent communication among the members, and an overall good relation with other gangs, ULK creates a special unity for its members that no other gang out there has to offer.

History:
Throughout MTA: VC 0.2's release, VCP was one of the most powerful gangs around. It was lead by DeathB and Iggy, who often had many power struggles; the unneeded drama was repetitive at times and it turned many away from the clan. DeathB eventually said that he had enough one day and threatened Iggy that he would leave and start a gang of his own. Iggy did not take this seriously, however, until it was too late. One of the biggest splits in MTA history occured; nearly all of VCP's most talented members followed DeathB because they saw no hope for VCP if their co-leader were to leave. An entire well-developed clan was torn apart in one day, which caused a shock throughout the MTA community. Everyone immediately sided with VCP and we were hated for several months. This would change with time, however...

Thus, on 12/6/03, started the VCAS - Vice City All Stars. This gang's goal was to be only full of the best, most well-known, and active players of MTA. The VCML (Vice City Minor League) was also formed, which is a training gang for our newly recruited members.

On the 12/10/03, we all decided on a name change: ULK (United Legion of Killers - for our main gang) and TLK (Training Legion of Killers - for our training gang). We were getting too much criticism about our previous name, so we tried our best at making a completely new and original tag.

On 12/13/03, we separated ourselves from the MTA community. From there on, we decided to be an official GTAT gang instead. The new multiplayer modification looked promising at the time, so we pursued it instead of MTA.

On 2/5/04, we rejoined the community and dropped TLK. All active members were promoted to ULK on request and it became a closed clan with a few exceptions. Around that time, we also dropped the 'GTAT gang' idea as well, as it didn't exactly meet our expectations. The MTA community was evidently beginning to accept us, so we stuck with it from there on out.

On 3/7/04, we dropped the "all members equal in power" concept and formed a different leadership system; it was evident that we needed a new one. In this system, there is one leader elected by ULK and five council members appointed by the leader. Checks and balances are applied - the leader can't make any major decisions without approval by the majority of the council, and the council can make decisions of their own, but need consent from the leader in some cases. The council also makes sure that the leader doesn't go out of line.

On 3/21/04, DeathB (our leader at the time) had to leave for quite a while due to some real life complications. The council basically lead ULK during his absence.

On 5/9/04, TLK reopened. ULK's dominance was slowly weakening and we were dropping in numbers at the time, so we did our best at reorganzing the roster and recruiting new members.

On 6/5/04, DeathB returned to the MTA community. ULK slowly regained its strength, but our numbers were still very low.

On 6/13/04, the majority of DA split to ULK (the remants of DA merged with KFC). We gained several members and our clan became more active again. This move would prove very beneficial for us in the future.

On 6/22/04, ULK split into three teams of ten members, each led by two council members (one member had to be promoted as council member to make six and help lead a team). These teams were used for various purposes, mainly to serve as our roster lineup for gang wars and inner-clan battles.

On 8/11/04, DeathB left ULK. This threw the entire clan into chaos and several people quit. The remaining council members assumed leadership and each were assigned to a specific task.

On 8/22/04, an independant teams system was started. It was soon forgotten, however, as our numbers began to drop again, and we no longer needed to divide ourselves. We found that the people who remained were our true members, and with a bit of reorganizing, we made a lot of reforms in the months thereafter.

On 12/6/04, ULK became one year old.

As time has gone by and VCP was long forgotten, respect began to grow for ULK. We're definately one of the best there is and ever was in MTA, and we're willing to prove it whenever necessary.
