    1. What is Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club?

      Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club is the official organization for Star Wars fans created to unify and spotlight worldwide fan activity, give exclusive inside access to the cast and crew as they prepare the next movie, provide a way to buy really cool exclusive stuff, and most of all... to celebrate Star Wars.

      Membership brings you the greatest benefits package ever put together for Star Wars fans.     2. What is starwars.com Hyperspace?

      starwars.com Hyperspace is the online component of the Fan Club, providing content and features you can't get anywhere else -- exclusive member-only photos, Episode III behind-the-scenes articles and video, plus exciting rare and never-before-seen finds from all five films discovered in the depths of the Lucasfilm archives. Look for new content every business day!

      starwars.com Hyperspace also brings you the most for your online Star Wars experience with features like a free Star Wars-themed email address, message board perks, email alerts when your favorite new products become available, and browsing starwars.com free of advertising.

    3. What is Star Wars Insider magazine?

      The Star Wars Insider is the print component of the Fan Club. Published six times a year, the magazine is created by Lucasfilm and IDG Entertainment, publisher of GamePro, Code Vault and other premier interactive entertainment magazines and websites.

      Insider continues fan-favorite features like Prequel Update, Star Wars Q&A;, Scouting the Galaxy, exclusive first-look photos, Star Wars celebrity tracking and more, all bound together as a permanent part of your collection.

      Star Wars Insider is published bi-monthly and your six-issue subscription will begin with the next available issue after you enroll.

      Published bi-monthly, the first IDG-published issue is Star Wars Insider #77, due to ship in July / August 2004. Your six-issue subscription will begin with the next available issue.

    4. What is in the membership kit?

      Included with the U.S. and Canada membership comes a member kit that will be mailed to you, including posters, action figure backdrops, a calendar and other exclusive surprises, plus a welcome letter from Star Wars-creator George Lucas. (Contents of kit subject to change.) Membership kits will be sent in groups throughout the year. Please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery.

    5. Do Fan Club members have benefits at StarWarsShop.com?

      Yes. Fan Club members have VIP perks at StarWarsShop.com, the official online Star Wars store, with discounts on select merchandise, early purchase rights on selected items and upcoming exclusive products available only to members of Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club.

      Fan Club members can also look forward to special member-only events, like regional Fan Club breakfasts, and to special treatment as Lucasfilm-attended national events like Star Wars Celebration III in 2005.

    7. Advertising Free - What does "Disable this Ad" mean?

      As an exclusive member of Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club you'll be presented starwars.com free of advertising banners during your online browsing. You'll need to be signed in in order to benefit from this feature.

    8. Can I buy a Fan Club membership as a gift for someone else?

      Yes. Simply enter the recipient's email and shipping address when you order.

  2. Membership -- U.S. and Canada

    1. How do I become a member?

      U.S. and Canadian residents simply click here and fill-out our online form to join the Fan Club for just $39.95. ($49.95 in Canada) Payment can be made by major credit card, or you can choose to be billed later.

      After you sign-up, you will receive an email that contains your ten-digit Hyperspace Access Code. To begin your membership, log on to starwars.com (or create a new account) and enter the Hyperspace Access Code in the Join / Renew section of Member Services. Your year of access to Hyperspace content and features will begin immediately when you enter your Hyperspace Access Code.

    2. Who do I contact if I have questions regarding my Hyperspace Access Code or membership to the new Fan Club?

    3. I am currently subscribed to Insider and/or starwars.com Hyperspace? When should I join the new Fan Club? What happens to my current subscriptions?

      To receive full online and offline benefits of the new Fan Club, sign-up now! If you currently receive Insider, your magazine subscription will be extended by six issues when you join the new Fan Club. Similarly, if you are a current member of Hyperspace, your subscription will be extended by one year when you join the new Fan Club. If you are currently a subscriber to both, then you have access to everything for now. (Be sure to renew before one or the other runs out!)

      If you are a current Insider subscriber only and don't join the new club, you will continue to receive your remaining issues of Star Wars Insider until your subscription runs out. If you are a current member of Hyperspace only, then you retain all your online benefits until your subscription runs out. Join today to receive full online and offline benefits of the new Fan Club!

    4. Can I subscribe to just online or just the magazine?

      No. We've united the best of our online and offline benefits into one great package. Save over 25% off of regular subscription prices. U.S. and Canada membership is available only as a complete package.

    5. If I choose "Bill Me Later" are my benefits delayed?

      No, your benefits begin as soon as you enter the ten-digit Hyperspace Access Code that you will receive in your confirmation email.

    6. What is the automatic renewal option?

      When you sign up for membership, you have the option of selecting automatic renewal. If selected, your membership will be automatically renewed in a year when your current subscription expires. If you pay by credit card your card will be charged in a year, otherwise we will simply send you a bill. This convenience ensures that you don't miss a single day of Star Wars excitement (or lose your Star Wars email address).

  3. Membership -- International

    1. How do I become a member if I live outside the U.S. or Canada?

      International memberships to the new Fan Club can be purchased through StarWarsShop.com. Click here to subscribe. To begin your membership, log on to starwars.com (or create a new account) and enter your ten-digit Hyperspace Access Code (found on your Order Confirmation page and your Order Confirmation email) in the Join / Renew section of Member Services. Your year of access to Hyperspace content and features will begin immediately when you enter your Hyperspace Access Code.

    2. What are the benefits of membership and how much does it cost?

      The Fan Club is open to members worldwide. For $19.95, fans living outside the U.S. and Canada can join the Fan Club and receive one-year full access to starwars.com Hyperspace online content, StarWarsShop.com discounts and exclusives, and fan event perks. International members do not receive Star Wars Insider magazine, nor a membership kit.

      When you sign up at StarWarsShop.com, your order confirmation and your email confirmation will contain an Hyperspace Access Code. Your year of access to starwars.com Hyperspace, and all the benefits of the new Fan Club, begins when you enter the Hyperspace Access Code in the Join / Renew section of Member Services at starwars.com.

    3. What if I am a current Star Wars Insider subscriber? What if I am already a member of starwars.com Hyperspace?

      If you are a currently subscribed to Star Wars Insider, but not the new Fan Club, you will continue to receive the remaining issues of Star Wars Insideruntil your current subscription runs out, but you will not have access to Hyperspace, nor exclusive perks at StarWarsShop.com until you join the new Fan Club.

      If you are a current member of Hyperspace, then you are automatically a member of the new Fan Club with the online and StarWarsShop.com perks until your current subscription ends.

    4. Who do I contact if I have questions regarding my Hyperspace Access Code or membership to the new Fan Club?

      Remember, when you sign up at StarWarsShop.com, your order confirmation and your email confirmation will contain your ten-digit Hyperspace Access Code. If you have any questions, please fill out our customer service form here.

    5. What if my home country is not listed in the drop-down list?

      The drop-down list of countries eligible to join the Fan Club is current; however, check back soon because additional countries will be added. We appreciate your interest and patience.

    6. How come fans outside the U.S. and Canada are not eligible to receive the Insider?

      In a number of territories around the world, there are local official Star Wars magazines available. Click here to find out more information on magazines in Germany, France, Spain, Mexico and the U.K.

  4. Troubleshooting

    1. Where do I get my Hyperspace Access Code and what do I do with it?

      When you join the new fan club, domestic and international members will receive an email with your ten-digit starwars.com Hyperspace Access Code. International members will also find their Hyperspace Access Code located in their StarWarsShop.com Order Confirmation page.

      To begin your membership, log on to starwars.com (or create a new account) and enter your ten-digit Hyperspace Access Code (found on your Order Confirmation page and your Order Confirmation email) in the Join / Renew section of Member Services. Your year of access to Hyperspace content and features will begin immediately when you enter your Hyperspace Access Code.

    2. Who do I contact if I have questions regarding my Hyperspace Access Code or membership to the new Fan Club?

      All members can contact us using the simple form we’ve provided here.

      International members should submit a detailed description by email to: customerservice@starwarsshop.com.

      If you have a question about the status of your previous Star Wars Insider subscription (such as, "How many issues of Insider do I have left?"), please submit a detailed description by email to: swicustserv@cdsfulfillment.com.

    3. When will I get my first issue of the Insider?

      Star Wars Insider is published six times a year, roughly every second month. You will receive an issue within 8 to 10 weeks.

    4. When will I get my membership kit?

      Membership kits are sent in groups throughout the year. Please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery.

    5. Can I cancel my subscription?

      Annual offers cannot be cancelled. However, if you sign-up for the automatic renewal option, you are free to cancel at any time by contacting our subscriber services team here.

    6. I am a starwars.com Hyperspace member. When will my subscription end?

      Log on to starwars.com and check the "Renew" tab in your member settings. The current end date for your starwars.com Hyperspace subscription is displayed for your convenience. When you sign-up for the new Fan Club, your current subscription will extend by one year.

    7. Can I access Hyperspace from any computer? Will features work on Macintosh?

      Yes, Hyperspace is accessible from any computer much like a Yahoo, Hotmail or Amazon.com account.

      Most Hyperspace online features will work on any computer with a recent browser. Video files are typically in QuickTime format and require a Mac or PC with a recent version of the QuickTime plug-in.

    8. What if I have a problem not mentioned here?
