This frame is the top of of the Alan Cyclocross line, and boasts a carbon tubeset with external aluminum lugs at an excellent value. This frame combines quality and price as well as a retro modern look with external lugs, round 33mm diameter tubes, integrated headset and a carbon rear seat stays. The rear triangle is finished with aluminum tubes with plenty of clearance for cyclocross tires and mud clearance. This frame combines excellent stiffness and stability, but is also very comfortable on the dirt. The tubes and lugs are bonded which allows us to replace tubes in case of a repair due to an accident. Aluminium rear dropouts with replaceable gear hanger, front derailleur hanger and all the cables are routed on top tube. The front derailleur cable circles a pulley wheel on the lower seat tube for standard road shifting performance. Upon request, bottle, rack and fender braze-ons are available. The fork Cross Carbon - I is a mixed fork with the 1 1/8" aluminum steer tube and fork blades in carbon, while the fork crown is aluminum with an aerodynamic straight carbon fork blade.
