All That Dance--Seattle Children's Dance Studio

SEMESTER FORMAT: We have moved to a 16-week format. one in Fall, one in Spring. Summer remains 10 weeks. This will reduce the constant scramble to sign up for classes.

Our Dance Center ...

We're very proud of our newly renovated dance center located at 8507 35th Ave. N.E. in the friendly Seattle neighborhood of Wedgwood (see our spacious lobby above). We moved into this enormous space on October 1, 2001. We continue to maintain our satellite studio at 5500 35th Ave. N.E. (30 blocks to the south).

Our new dance center features two professional performance-quality floating floors (see photo below) from a company (StageStep) whose

floors are used by world-famous dance companies around the world, including the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and The Joffrey Ballet School of New York. These "floating" floors consist of a high-grade plywood subfloor topped with thousands of 3-inch foam blocks, another layer of plywood and then a long-lasting linoleum-type surface. What does it all mean? You and your children will feel a spring in your step. Another way to look at it: These floors treat your body well, resulting in lower frequency of shin splints and joint soreness.

Other highlights of our 6,000 square-foot Wedgwood facility at 8507 35th Ave. N.E.:

a 1,375 square-foot studio space with a piano and a full wall of mirrors.
an 1,100 square-foot studio space with a full wall of mirrors.
a comfortable, 1,375 square-foot lobby with couch, chairs and veiled windows for discreet viewing (so as not to disrupt classes).
two handicap-accessible bathrooms.
two large dressing rooms.
Air conditioning throughout.

Our satellite location at 5500 35th Ave. N.E. is also a wonderful place to dance. We renovated this warm, neighborhood studio in Fall of 2000, including the installation of a new, 1,000 square-foot hardwood. This studio also has a new bathroom and a small changing room.
