Special model for technical photography. Comes with a s.c.
Réseau Glass Plate before film window. Plate has etched cross
pattern for scientific measurements. Used by police, aerial
and other scientific photographers.
There two models with different cross spacing. The lenses for
the metric camera are special certified Carl Zeiss lenses with
a minimum resolution or 25 line pairs up to the extreme
corners of the image and come with detailed test report. This
model was also available with digital scan pack as
Rollei Q16. |

Special bracketing knob next to hot shoe can be used for 3

MegaPixel per color channel, a total of 18 MegaPixel at 14 bit
color depth. The data are supplied in YMCK format (not RGB) so

software on PC. |

The third generation model. Hand grip, extended metering modes
and automatic functions with open aperture metering, LED
indicators in the viewfinder. 7 cells behind the mirror
measure average light, one special cell measures spot, and a
9th cell measures light reflected from the film to adjust
flash duration.
Next to manual, 3 automatic exposure modes: time preferred,
diaphragm preferred and program mode. Auto bracketing. 1/800
sec. shortest shutter time.
Lenses for this camera are called PQ. Older lenses can be
used, but are limited to working diaphragm light metering. |
