May 30, 2000 - We received a very sad note from a fan of Looking Glass Studios that we thought we'd share with you, because you just may be interested in helping out with their cause. Read the letter, wipe the tears from you eyes and then help them out if you agree.

Hello IGN. I am a long time reader of your site, a few years now, and I have a request to make.

As you all know Looking Glass Studios was shut down. This company was very dear to me and many many others. The fan base of Looking Glass is BEYOND what most people think. The people at Through the Looking Glass, or TTLG, have created a petition to EA to save Jane's Attack Squadron (JAS). The game is 2.5 years on development and near completion. We are asking EA to fund the LGS team that worked on JAS until it is completed, so we can see and play this game. Not only would this be an excellent farewell gift to LGS, but the game has many fans that want to see it completed. If IGN could post the URL of the petition, we would be greatful.

    The URL is http://www.ttlg.com/jas/

We currently have near 2000 people that have signed the petition in nearly 2-3 days of it being created.

Posting on your site would be a great help to us all in our efforts to remember Looking Glass Studios and allowing them to create this one last game. I think we all owe at LEAST this to them, as they were such a fine company that brought us some of the greatest games of all time.

Thank you IGN. Ansalon LGS Fan Frequenter of TTLG forums

If you're one of the poor lost souls wandering the void since the loss of Looking Glass, then go ahead and sign the petition, you never know what could happen.
