The Mauretania Import Export Company is a videogame, film, and television production company that specializes in developing and building multimedia brands.

December 15, 2004 - George Romero and Hip Interactive have entered into an agreement to develop a game title based on the "City of the Dead" license concept. TMIEC represented the license and shopped the concept to interactive publishers, resulting in this deal. The full announcement can be read here:

The full retail PC game will be available for Christmas of '04. The Xbox version will be released early '05.
