Michigan Basketball
Atlanta Club members have expressed an interest in watching Michigan men's basketball. We will be at The Line @285 Sports Bar & Grille, 5525 Interstate North Parkway for the following games:
- Thursday 1/27/05 @ 7:00 p.m. vs. Michigan State
- Sunday 1/30/05 @ 1:30 p.m. vs. Purdue
- Tuesday 2/8/05 @ 7:00 p.m. vs. Illinois
- Saturday 2/12/05 @ 4:00 p.m. vs. Michigan State
- Sunday 2/20/05 @ 3:30 p.m. vs. Indiana
Please mark your calendars. We will be seated either in the main dining room or around the pool tables, depending upon concurrent events. Also, we are planning an all-you-can-eat barbeque for the Illinois game on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, depending upon the weather and the expected turnout (at least 25). Stay tuned for more details as the date approaches.
Happy Hours
Thank you for attending a past Michigan Alumni Happy Hour. We had a great turnout over the past few months and look forward to bigger crowds as we move into 2005. We hope you can join us for the upcoming Michigan Alumni Happy Hours on the following dates:

Michigan Women's Softball
Friday, February 25-Sunday, February 27. The U-M women's fast pitch softball team has made it to the prestigious invitational 2005 NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Georgia (approximately 100 miles southwest of Atlanta, expressway all the way). Group ticket rates are available. The Greater Columbus Sports Council can help with hotel arrangements and provide additional information (706.660.1996).
Michigan Women's Gymnastics
Friday, March 11, 7 p.m. The U-M women’s gymnastics team will compete against the University of Georgia Lady Dawgs. The Atlanta club is trying to arrange a pre-meet get-together at a local restaurant. Stegeman Coliseum (on the UGA campus in Athens), $10 for adults, $6 for youth, group rates are available upon request. 2005 Annual Big Ten Golf Scramble
Mark your calendars for Friday, August 19, 2005 with a shotgun start beginning at 8:00 a.m. at The Golf Club at Bradshow Farm, a 27-hole course near Woodstock in southern Cherokee County.
