Services

Sundays:
09:00 Holy Communion
- This service of Holy Communion is more traditional (on the third Sunday of the month we use Morning Prayer)
10:45 Morning Worship - This is our largest service. There is something for everyone, and we try to combine elements of the traditional and modern. There is a creche, Sunday School and younger teenage group. There is a strong community feel to the service. On the third Sunday of every month we have communion, and the fourth is All Age Service. We regularly have shared lunches after the service.
15:00 International Fellowship - Our International Fellowship is a more informal service, and people from many different nationalities gather together for worship and learning.
18:30 Evening Worship - The service of Evening Worship focuses on bible teaching. On the third Sunday of the month there is communion. The service includes a break in the middle for refreshments and an opportunity to talk.
Wednesdays:
14:15 Afternoon Service
- This service partiularly caters for the older generation and runs during term time. It is followed by afternoon tea.

Bible Study Groups

People from our church also meet during the week for prayer, Bible study, discussion and friendship. There are different home groups that meet Tuesdays 13:30, Wednesdays 19:00 and Wednesdays 20:00.

Alpha Course

During the past years we have put on Alpha Courses that invite people to discover what it means to become a Christian, to put their faith in Jesus Christ and to live as a Christian. An Alpha course runs for several weeks. To find out about the next possibility to join please contact the parish office. To find out more about the Alpha Course please follow the link: more...

Music

The number of musicians and singers that are active in St Mary Mag's always varies, but Music plays an important part in our services and different groups. There usually is a Music practice on Tuesday evenings at 19:30, where we practice for the Sunday Service at 10:45. We are always looking for people to use their musical talents!

Bellringing

Our Band of Bellringers made up of people of all ages meets once a week for practice, rings on Sundays and special occasions and takes part in competitions.

Square of Grace

The Square of Grace is open for anyone to come as they are and meet up for friendship, tea and coffee, games, crafts. We particularly want to give people the chance contact with each other, care for each other and have fun together. The Square of Grace is open twice a week in our church: Tuesdays 16:00-18:00 and Fridays 19:00-22:00.

Prayer

As a church we put aside one Thursday evening a month for prayer, from 8 – 9 pm. This offers us the opportunity to pray together for the many different aspects of the work of the church.
