| 2/24/2002- There was a scary little incident the other day. I was just catching up on some homework when there was a frantic knock at the door. When I opened it this woman was crying and asking if she could use the phone to call the police. Her shirt was torn open and she looked pretty banged up. So I let her in and got her something to drink while she called. Apparently her boyfriend had beat her up and was now keeping her from getting her baby, which was locked in his house. While she was calling, the boyfriend shows up out front, yelling for her to come out or something, sounding pretty pissed off. Well, the police eventually came, the guy got carted off, and she got her baby back. So at least it ended well. In other news, there's a family matter occuring, and dad's at the center of it. I can't really say much about it, but believe me when I say he's reached new lows of evil. Let's just say he's broke a number of laws, a life is ruined, and I'm going to have a half sibling soon. Oh, and there's the possibility he might take my sisters and skip town. So we're on a high alert of our own around here why we try to work all this stuff out. And in transgender news, I have an endoc appointment on March 22nd. And for anyone interested, there's a special on the Discovery Channel tonight (2-24), Is it a Boy or Girl?, at 10pm EST. The TV guide blurb says "It is routine to perform surgery on infants born with mixed sexual characteristics, even though gender identity is a complex matter." Well, that's about all for now.
